United Family Worship Center's mission is to be a growing body of disciples who are connected to God, the ministry, one another, and our community.
Our Vision
United Family Worship Center's vision is to connect people to God through worship and life changing preaching and teaching. To connect them to each other through small groups, connect them in ministry through ministry teams, and connect them to the community through outreach.
Core Beliefs
"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer
United Family Worship Center's Core Beliefs are based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
We believe in the Godhead and in the Oneness of the Godhead. We believe that there is only one God who is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 1 Timothy 2:5). We fully believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible word of God, revealed by God to man, for man. It reveals God, the fall of man, God's plan for man’s redemption and His eternal plan for the ages (2 Timothy 3:16).
Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations ( Genesis 1:26-28).
Salvation
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers salvation as a free gift of eternal life to all who follow Christ. Salvation is by grace through faith in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death and in His bodily resurrection. We believe that Jesus is fully God and fully Man.
Resurrection
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
Spirit Baptism & Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, evidenced by the initial sign of speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, 19:6). We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and there continuation to the coming of Christ.
